This major conference is being held at NICVA to mark Europe Day and the historic accession of ten new member states to the EU.

The conference is part of a city-wide campaign, 'New Europe, New Faces', organised by Belfast City Council’s Development Department in partnership with the European Commission in Northern Ireland.

The conference is supported by the European Commission and aims to inform voluntary and community organisations of developments in the EU and how these will impact on the sector in Northern Ireland.

Speakers from across Europe will explore Northern Ireland’s place in the EU and workshops will focus on a number of key thematic policy issues such as peace building, the social economy, anti-poverty, migration and asylum.

A full programme and booking information will be available soon on this site. Places at the event will be strictly limited.
