Our Governance and Charity Advice Service offers information about good governance for charities on a wide range of topics.
Practical help is available in the form of:
- drafting and amending governing documents,
- helping organisations get recognised as charities,
- advising on best practice when dealing with governance problems, and
- providing governance training.
In addition, we provide the sector with the most up to date information on charity law reform and provide briefings on the new provisions of the Companies Act.
We also provide secretariat to the Developing Governance Group which has been working on developing a Code of Good Governance for Northern Ireland.
